Play area for Viper Oil Pattern
« on: July 27, 2010, 09:38:40 AM »
Hello, I am going to bowl in a scratch tourney next month and it will be on the Viper Oil Pattern. It has been a while since I last bowled on that shot and I have to say I am much more improved since then.

I have watched some of the out dated youtube videos on the pattern and want to know if it will play similar to the Cheetah pattern?

I'm a right hand stroker and my speed is 15-17mph.

I guess the true answer will be found when I bowl on it. Trying to figure out what balls to bring. I bowled on Kegel's Boardwalk pattern which is similar to Cheetah from what I've learned. I shot an excellent series (702) on it and tend to do better on shots where the outside is in play.

I know Viper is a little longer than Cheetah but not sure where the play area is for me.

Thank you.
