When your ball was drilled, was it drilled with the intention of using ovals or power lifts? The driller would have to take into consideration the added pitch of the power lifts (if that is what I am thinking it is) before drilling the finger holes. If the ball was drilled for ovals and then you started using the lifts, you have changed the pitch in the finger holes.
Don't understand your fingertips getting 'deaf'. I am sure that is a mis-translation. Do you mean sore? As in feeling pain?
Which side of the fingers are you feeling pressure? Front is pad or fingerprint side, back is nail. I think they use right and left when looking down at the back of the hand.
Finger inserts have their uses and it is a bowler's personal preference as to which type to use or none. Most of my older balls have ovals and my newer ones have none. Since I started bowling years before they came into use, I decided to try going back that way. I can get more hook with the inserts but I don't really need to with my slower speed.
