Pro Shop Tips and Tricks Volume 2 + Shot preview

In this video I show our "procedure" for making the vent hole in the side of the IT slugs, then I make a recommendation for how to glue in finger grips to ensure they'll stay in, leave room to insert shims, and be flush with the surface of the ball all the way around without doctoring or cutting.  I also make recommendations on how to plug balls to minimize the risk of cracking.  Thanks for watching, appreciate feedback and questions as always!

A short "bonus" video, just a lane level view of my ball roll.  It's just a short little "teaser preview" of a clip that will be on my opening analysis for my documentary.

What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

Have had reports of the first video not working for some people, who is it not working for here?

It worked for me, but I did have to wait 30 seconds or so for it to load.  You might also want to mention using the plug cubes made from excess material from previous jobs to reduce the volume so the plug can be done in one pour.  I use this only if I'll be using a slug or grips in the holes to be drilled, otherwise you can get sharp edges in the hole.  --  JohnP

Our boss is actually really against that.  The possibility to have voids shoots through the roof, and drilling back into plug with several different "seams" and possible voids can cause a lot of problems.  Having bits of hardened plug in with fresh plug also highly contributes to cracking.  If it's something you can get by with, cool, but we just don't like taking the chance.
