$35 for a blank (i.e., Internet) ball before grips or slug. $12.50 for the grips, $15 for the thumb (yes, $27.50 for the lot). With tax, you're looking at about $65.
The other shop I've been to, and where I go now, is $30 for the drilling plus $15 for grips and slug. We've talked about Internet balls, and he feels like he's perfectly competitive on current-line stuff. For what it would cost to order a Radical Inferno and have him drill it, he's within a couple of bucks. He has to charge you tax on the ball if you buy it from him, otherwise it's just on the drilling and grips.
Basically he charges his cost plus $30 plus grips/slug. If you bring him a ball, it's $30 plus grips and slugs. If you find a helluva deal, especially on discontinued stuff, he says to go for it. A lot of his stock is discontinueds he gets for cheap anyway.
Plus he's a nice guy, talks to you about layouts, and doesn't treat me differently than a higher-average bowler who "knows" what he's doing and is buying from him. I've bought from him and brought him a ball I got from ASB-Joe. If he were less than two hours away, I'd be there every week.
