not sure if it matters but ive Ben reading things abt how strength matters so id like to mention i compete in powerlifting/strongman so i am a tad strong...and i usually throw this ten lb ball at 15mph ish, if i crank it at 20 plus it leaves a few no matter Where i hit them. 15ish is the sweet spot for my ball. id like to throw it harder tho

and i know how to curve it i like coming from the far right...im right handed...my uncle is guiding me technique wise...just need a ball suggestion

Throwing it hard is not the ultimate goal here. Repetition is of great importance in bowling, so less muscle used is usually better.  Definitely you should go heavier. I'm 50 years old and throw 15 lbs, like most of us on here.  If you get properly fitted you should easily handle 14 or 15 lb. equipment.

One ball that would be an easy choice for your next step would be the DV8 Reckless.  It's strong, smooth read on many shots would be a versatile pick, too.  There will be a multitude of opinions now that you've asked, so good luck as you return to the sport we love.

If you were my customer I'd recommend a Ebonite Cyclone, which is an entry level reactive resin with a good coverstock and core.  You should be able to get one at your local pro shop with a customized layout and drilled for less than $140.  If you're serious about bowling I would also recommend you use a fingertip grip.  You can handle 15 or 16 lbs with no problem, most bowlers use 15 lbs because they deflect enough at the pins to improve carry.  Use the Cyclone for one season to get your game developed then move up to a higher end ball.  The Cyclone will still be a valuable ball in your arsenal.  --  JohnP
