Straight up...
« on: November 15, 2007, 02:56:11 AM »
I'm looking for some other options on balls other than my Toxic to go straight up the 5 board and break for the pocket. I throw pretty much like Walter Ray Williams. Any ideas? How would I find what WRW throws?

WRW is on the Morich staff and has been using a LevRG of late.  Most of his equipment is drilled pretty strong, he's got a lot of stuff that's 4-4 1/2" pin-to-PAP with the MB stacked below.  He primarily uses surface adjustments rather than layouts to get the ball reaction he wants.

Total Inferno, World Class Reactive, New Standard, Resurgence all rolly type of balls from outside attack lines.

Awesome Revs is a better choice IMO than the LevRG like Walter has been suing lately, LevRg can lazy on the backend in carrydown. If a fresh shot the LevRg is good choice, otherwise i have seen it straighten out a few times already since having it a few weeks now.

The Awesome Revs is also a verastile ball -- pearl particle gives you some good pop on the backend, but good read in oil as well.  When I have lane conditions that let me throw it early, I am still hesistant to put the Awesome Revs away even when it starts overreacting off the dry midlane in the 3rd game and I need something more highly polished.
