Columbia Scout Particle/Reactive or Sonic Boom
« on: September 14, 2004, 12:33:39 PM »
I went to two different pro shops today.

The first pro shop recommended a Columbia Scout Particle or Reactive.  It was going to be right around 90 drilled.  This guy sounded very knowledgable, and he was giving me some pointers.

The second pro shop recommended a Sonic Boom.   I asked him about the Columbia's, but he told me that by paying $20 more, I can't get a much better ball.  He was very nice, but was just to the point, and really didn't say much after.

Tomorrow, I'm want to get my ball, but what would you recommend.  I'm a newbie using 2 fingers, and now with the new ball i'm going to add my thumb.

Thanks for you help.

Just from the info given, I would go with the first shop.  Both operators gave you great choices, neither of them tried to steer you to a higher priced ball.

Since the first proshop gave you free pointers, selected a great beginning ball for you, I would pick him just because he spent that little bit extra
time.
