PBA "Experience" Cheetah Pattern Video
« on: January 14, 2008, 03:42:26 PM »
Just a short film my partner (BowlingMyTMouse) and I made tonight.  A few shots from 4th game of our PBA Experience League.  After 3 games my pair started to open up out on the ditch, his had a ton of oil close to the edge from guys playing inside of it so it forced him to the track area where he got alot of over/under.  All in all, this Cheetah pattern is alot different than years past and it is explained in the video.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

A half ten is not a great shot.  No, you shouldn't have carried it.

even if the pba experience cheetah pattern has been "tweaked" this year it is not easier than most house shots. every regional tournament i've been to has a roster full of 220+ league average players. most of them will not average 190 when they bowl on the cheetah pattern.

I hate the cheeta pattern, I didn't have anything that would work on the lane the first week then second week I got a ball that I could control and then just couldn't find a consistent shot, more of my fault but I avg around 210 or so on a THS i would guess...(don't bowl in a THS league) and on the cheeta I was about a 160 lol. I don't know what was up with me, just not consistent enough with my release and usually takes me a while to learn something new and this was totally new for me.
