Best bowling video I have ever seen
« on: December 20, 2012, 07:18:31 PM »
I'm sure some of you have already seen this video but for those who haven't, I highly recommend watching it..

The one thing I really like about this video is seeing the best in the world doing the exact same things in crucial areas of the swing no matter what style they have..

I hope someone watches this video and gets the same benefit I did to help improve their game... Merry Christmas all............

This brought 2 really neat things to my attention:

1. Knee Continuation. I had no idea, and all this really says to me is "get your footspeed and legs more involved and stop using your chest/shoulders to 'throw' the ball."

2. The "Swing plane" line he draws. Notice how the camera isn't directly behind the bowler, but rather looks directly down the target line. The swing plane is directly in line with the intended ball path, not the bowlers head necessarily (although both are true because they happen to be looking at where they're trying to throw the ball, obviously).

Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Your very welcome.. I'm glad you got something out of watching the video. I hope it helps your game..

The knee continuation, and left arm were the two keys for me in helping my game..
