Beginner bowler, how's my form?
« on: February 17, 2016, 08:13:15 AM »

I'm using a plastic ball (it's older than me!) here because it's the only 14lb ball I have.

I'm currently working on getting knee bend, but the release goes crazy when I try to bend my knees.

Any other comments?

More knee-bend in the slide and at release would be the first thing that stands out to me.

less rigid, stiff and mechanical
more fluid and athletic

something I learned the hard way in getting my 3 daughters up to speed (expensive): was don't rush into a heavy ball until you have a smooth swing. try a lighter ball for a bit and see if that helps develop a more fluid swing

get your ball push away smooth and on plane

good luck
