Ball reaction looks good tho, even though its league.  Alot of players bashed the evolve and said it was a pos.  Its not the greatest ball in the world don't get me wrong, but it is a good one.

It is true no shot is the same, but I will tell you that you look like you mussel the ball to much. Try relaxing your arm swing, straighten out your elbow, and stay behind the ball. Try that and concentrate on trying on keeping your forearm and hand facing the pins as long as you can. JMO.

Where do I start.? I appreciate all the Posts , Good the Bad , haters and all.
I picked up my 1rst bowling ball August of 09. I was throwing off my wrong foot when i started (So I've progressed ). I knew nothing of PAP and pitches and Mass Bias Etc. I was advised to join a league for fun , so in Sept. I joined my 1st league. Ive thrown a 800 series and 2 300s already. I decided to see what having a pitch felt like so i did it with my Evolve. Yes i have some mechanics to work on as it felt brand new to me. I did not have my spare ball with me as I can understand that you guys think I cant make a 7 pin consistantly . The constructive criticism from the last few guys i appreciate as I said "All responses are welcome" , When i should have said "as long as its constructive ".

I also didnt know that there were different oil patterns and that shot you saw was the 2nd time that I was on the Chameleon . So I look out at my Breakpoint (7-8 board) and bowl. The shot changed so my arrow changed .
Im working on staying behing the ball more and a more consistant follow through.

SO I say thanks to those who had helpful info.

Hold That, anytime you come on here asking for advice, please take it with a grain of salt, ok? We can go over and over on here everyday about the right(and wrong ways) to throw a bowling ball, when really there is no right or wrong way to do it! You can take 6-11 steps, walk sideways on the approach, cut your follow through off, fully extend it etc. The point is, whatever you do to get to the foul line, do it the same everytime. From the time you pick your ball up off the rack, till you follow through while watching the ball roll over your target, do it the same way every time.
Not many bowlers have a textbook approach, especially on here. Heck, we can pick apart the greatest bowler of all time's game, Walter Ray Williams, and find numerous things he does "wrong" technically, but he gets the job done right? Because he does the same thing everytime he throws the ball. Learn a pre-shot routine(if you dont know what that is p.m. me and ill explain), but more importantly find a good coach in your area that can teach you the basics of lining up properly in your stance to start. Good Luck!
