My Creature Pearl is drilled 4 x 4. The surface was left OOB. Filming was done on a used not-so-typical house shot that normally has a bit of out-of-bounds. A mixed league bowled before me, and the video should reflect this -- there was carrydown present, plus plenty of early outside burn. This made me move in a bit and forced me to play straighter at the same time.

As the video notes, the only editing was between clips, to shorten the time. All shots are in order, and the only things changed by me were 1) the aforementioned time between and 2) camera angles.

Thanks for watching! If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask!

15.

The amount of carrydown and the tight line didn't exactly allow me to generate a tremendous amount of entry angle to the pocket. Lack of entry angle = poor carry.

Given some head oil and clean backends, this ball hits hard!

How would you compare it to the break pearl?

Easily 5-7 boards weaker. The Break Pearl is a bit earlier and substantially stronger (both in terms of angularity and boards covered) in the back part of the lane.

Awesome. I have been looking for a new ball that will clear the heads, but have a manageable backend reaction. This ball looks very promising...

That's exactly what this ball does. With a semi-weak drilling, I'd expect the Creature Pearl to have similar length to your Ogre SS but with a less angular backend reaction.

You need to get off the side of the ball and up the back more and you won't see nearly as much deflection.

Like I said, the crappy carry was largely due to the early outside burn and the carrydown following a mixed league. These were not ideal conditions by any means.
