Looking good.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I agree looks good.  Take to bowlingchat.net and JMerrill will give good analysis.

I'd like to see his trail foot down in contact with approach which would help with shoulders dipping forward slightly.

what i see is IMO very very good! I think it needs quite a bit of time to achieve this shape, thumbs up to whomever got him there.

The current shot looks very "set" which decreases striking power and in increases consistency. I suggest the following, that is to pick up the speed with the help of the legs, no change needed for the swing. This can be obtained by only taking a longer and slower third step. In other words, 1,2 stays as it is, 3 is longer and slower, 4 is shorter and stronger (which is what he is currently doing) and 5 needs no change at all.

NOTE: this technique is only for advance bowlers with soft and consistent release. Also for better reference, search on youtube for TJ, RASH, PDW, or Mallot. You gotta keep in mind that ur son is going to grow big time on size when reaching 16-17, keep him away from those big hand hitters because that will increase inconsistency, and generally theres no way back. As left hander, speed dominant tweener generally is good enough.

good luck :D

Overall, I think he has great fundamentals and solid balance at the foul line.  That definitely is going to benefit him going forward.

I wouldn't change anything with the swing itself.  But APheLion makes a good point about the shot looking "set."  By taking a slightly longer 3rd step and shortening the 4th step, it will allow him to develop a little more speed and also get more traction to gain a little more power.  An example along with TJ, Sean Rash, PDW or Wes Malott would be Ryan Ciminelli.  He also takes a longer 3rd step and then shortens 4, followed by planting on 5.

In any case, keep emphasizing the fundamentals because those are all solid.

Looks good. But an expert bowler can really give a perfect analysis! :)
