that's what it looked like to me...from observation...from the stories i've heard...probably not a terrible idea...biggest concern split wise would be a 5-10...compared to the possibilities of 7-10, 8-10, and 5-7 (add the 10 on too for fun!)

friend of mine did so once in our local league... the ball simply did not work in the 1-3 pocket so he shot 1-2 brooklyns and shot over 250...

what works works I say..

That house they were bowling in was so old(wood), you could SEE the groove in the track area! When they get to be in that condition it doesn't really matter which side of the headpin you use....

the pete is the hardest thing to bowl at...period!!! no arrows, dots, off set pins, weighted pins...heck they turned the lane off of the one guy in our group cuz he had the front 6...lol they made us wait like 15-20 min...it was funny
