help please

I video taped myself bowling and was looking for advice. I am wondering how to take my video file from a dvd and put it in a video format I can post on here. I am new to this sort of thing so I am kind of at a loss. Thanks in advance.

I can give you a basic startup you need to plug your camcorder into your computer, by a usb port,or firewire port,Once you plug your camcorder in you need a program to copy the film to a avi file format or wmp.etx take a look at the site, should get you started atleast
