Help posting a vid
« on: February 06, 2009, 12:24:24 PM »
I got a clip on my phone in 3g2 format and it runs great on my phone, but if I upload it to any website like youtube or photobucket, it's extremely choppy.  Any suggestions on how to format it to run smooth?  Thanks

Have you tried vimeo? I know for me I had to use vimeo to get my stuff to work well as youtube butchered it, if that doesn't work the only thing I can think of is maybe find a free converter program and switch it to a more common file type.

Check the resolution settings on your camera phone. It is probably a low res video setting that just works well on the small phone display, and from that you will have a hard time improving it - esp. on bigger screens the poor quality sucks. Better check if you can set a higher video resolution.

another thing to try is a format conversion - but if it came with low res in the first place, this will hardly help.

But try this: http://media-convert.com/convert/
