Blast from the past: Revolution Renegade in action
« on: May 12, 2007, 07:09:28 AM »
Well, I know that this is a rather pointless video, since noone (but me?) would buy such a ball. But here are first real life impressions, taken in my club house today on a new and rather thin 37' crowned pattern.

A review will follow/is under way

Enjoy!

Agreed.  Really nice vid with good production and attention to detail.  But your revrate is around 175-200.  Reason I say is that I have a friend taped at 275 and they have about twice the amount of revolutions on it as I see in your video.  There's nothing wrong with having a low revrate.  It's how they fall, not what hits em.

I beg your pardon! I resemble that remark!!

Nice video and nice use of a very good ball, Thomas.

Well, my rev rate is deducted via the "Ebonite VCR method" - when I started out bowling it was a mere 225 by this method, last measurement (1 year ago, though) got me to the 250+, 300 is only when I really crank it up and try to rip the cover off of the ball. Sadly, I never had the opportunity to use a local CATS for a proper measure since it is broken all the time...

Nevertheless, for me and my slow speed of about 14mph it is more than enough

Thanks for the comments, guys, and also for your valuable input on the "old" ball some time ago!
