Bowling Videos Board Rules (READ BEFORE POSTING)
« on: January 01, 2010, 03:00:01 AM »
A few rules to follow before posting on this discussion board:

1. Be constructive in your criticism.
Don't post straight criticism (e.g. "Your approach bites!"). If you want to criticize something, offer some reasoning and maybe how they can improve (e.g. "There's something off about your approach, you may want to shorten your stride.")

2. Try to specify what a person is doing right.
By being specific on what a person is doing right, you help them understand what they don't need to worry about and also help others who are looking at the video.

3. Talk about the bowling, not the person.
This is not a forum to discuss what you think of someone's clothing, body, etc... Let's stick to the form, release, etc...

4. If you are posting a video, prepare to be criticized.
This board exists to help users improve. Post with the realization that you are probably not a bowling god.

5. Follow the standard posting rules.
These rules are just an addendum to the standard posting rules. Please be sure to follow them as well.

6. Bowling Videos only.
While you may want to make sure that everyone knows why you "gotta have more cowbell," this board is strictly for bowling videos. You can always use the Miscellaneous - NON Bowling Related Board for other videos.
