please only positive critisism please.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

I'm assuming you mean real constructive criticism and not just getting bagged on, right?

Just a few things I noticed.

You tend to get a bit of a figure eight style backswing, I do believe if you would move the ball a little more to the right on your pushaway this would be eliminated.

Also your follow through seems a little weak, I would suggest working on getting it to follow the intended path of the ball, have your arm lift straight up going in a path at your target, for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvFWUtpBuUA
Watch Kevin (our own fiveseventen) and his follow through, his is a great one to model after.

Besides those two things you look a little off at the line, a little more knee bend a possibly a little slower on the feet could solve this.

Overall though, it doesn't look bad, its just a few minor things to work with and tweak, it takes time but you'll get there.

looks like you've got good rhythm which is always good
just a couple things i noticed:
-your left arm comes away from your body, keep it out in front until you reach the top of backswing this will let your shoulders open better.
-power step is a bit slow, keep it short and quick
-timing is a little late for your style, you need to get the ball into the swing just a bit earlier, try pushing out down a bit instead of straight out
-wrist during release looks stiff, cup your wrist approaching the release then relax it or bend it back (depends which way of thinking u like best)and remember to keep your elbow close to your body and follow through towards the target
Good luck,
Mike

to me, it looks like you're pulling away from the ball, if that makes sense. you're turning your body sideways at the line instead of using leg leverage. try to let the trail leg come out naturally instead of pulling yourself sideways. hope this helps and best of luck.

Thanks everyone, once i watched the vid, i was thinking most of the things you are suggesting. Keep them coming, trying to compile a list for my practice tomorrow.

That is a pretty good attitude, remember to just focus on one thing at a time. Say work on one objective for 5 frames, or a game and then work on the next objective, and don't try anything radically different, slowly work your way there, at times its easier to take steps, and not jumps, it just takes time.

K, i think my first thing is gonna be my balance and timing, because i can make good shots so far with the other things, but i think once i get my balance and timing down i'll be better then i can start working on push-away and getting my swing more straight. Although fixing my swing should be pretty easy, just move it to the side of my body.

ok in my opinion your armswing is too erratic when u push away get the ball out in line with your shoulder and let it fall naturally this will keep your elbow straight and not make u open up all crazy this will also keep your hand behind the ball so when u turn it you get more through the ball and not around the ball which will flare your elbow out which is bad you lose all power that way

keep working on it kid you'll get it
