You're mistaking the Granite Gargoyle for the Ogre SS.  Anyway, looks sweet.

wow, that was a wow

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

Thanks guys.

Been working on a couple of things lately such as my backswing, which was getting a little behind me, and softening up my release.

How do you put so many revs on the ball?

The ball is your tool use it. The best players in the world can average 230 with a house ball.

Geez Droo, how about getting some hand?  That Ogre Pearl (or was it the Violet?) looked good, real smooth.  The SS, not so much.  That thing booms on the backend when you rev it up.  Your game looks good!

Just thinking out loud....but I wonder if adding some slide on your last step might help soften up your release. You have power to burn so keeping it under control will make everything more consistant.

Problem is, down here, our approaches are very inconsistant. They change from day to day, shot to shot and even on where you slide on the approach.

The easiest way for me to be consistant, is to not slide. At least they are the same then.

Wish I had the camera on Monday night.... would have made for some entertaining viewing. Lanes were so crispy the SS was being lofted 20', sliding (or stepping ) around 55 board. Capping was getting in the way. Ball return was no problem, as I just stood on the other side of it

Nice vid. How are the Pearl and SS drilled and how would you compare them?

Both are drilled with the pin 4" from PAP, above the bridge. CG in palm. My PAP is 4 3/4 over and 1 1/2 up. Low track, big diameter.

On fresh, the Pearl will start up about 3 feet sooner, and be smoother on the back. The SS will jump way too hard on fresh backends.

On a broken down shot, such as was in that video, you can really see the difference. The SS still had energy to burn, as the Pearl was a lot earlier and smoother.
