Some advice I was given that really helped me was working on my footwork and push away without the ball. I put down some duct tape on the garage floor concrete, around 10 or 12 feet, and focus on my push away with my arm and hand completely relaxed, and this let me get control on my cross over step, and all my moves up to my finish position. Just let the arm and hand drop, relaxed. This has helped me have a controlled finish position, and also to post on my shots at the line consistently. It adds and focuses on balance as priority. I also will stay in my finish position sometimes and use my Eileen's Bowling Buddy XL swing trainer, which has been great for developing that relaxed arm swing feel.
