I know I was a little harsh on your last post, but.... You have to drop your shoulder to get the ball down thru the heads & it's not that bad compared to some I've seen.
The only way to get more speed w/out forcing it at the bottom would be to hold your ball higher at approach, letting it drop at the push away to create a little higher back swing to generate more speed on it's own w/the pendulum movement. That would take practice, especially since it would be uncomfortable at 1st. You still would have to hinge your elbow like you do to generate your crank. As long as you don't have tendonitis & you're repeating your shots, I wouldn't adjust too much. I'd get several opinions from certified coaches before changing anything. What works for one doesn't always work for another. The other thing to do would be to watch video of a Ken(?) Simard, Brian Himmler or a Steve Hoskins, they tend to be crankers as that what looks like you are trying to do. JMHO. Good luck.
