As a preview, and to test a different web platform since putfile.com seems to have some problems lately, here a link to a video of my latest addition: a New Standard², almost drilled label leverage:
http://de.video.yahoo.com/watch/3283661/9245302The video was taken last week on a 39' medium pattern with 23ml of oil (oil graph included) im my club house with brand new Brunswick lanes. I used a wide range of "shot qualities" - just like an "average bowler", to provide a realistic impression
As a novelty, I made took some footage shots close to the back end and pit area, for better close-ups on the ball's final reaction and pin impact.
Besides some general ball reaction views I tried to make a comparison with my benchmark Frankie May Gryphon, but I suppose that the reaction differences are hard to tell due to the resolution.
Interesting: both balls play similar lines, feet at about 24th-26th board and between 2nd and 3rd arrow, with a breakpoint pretty close to the gutter. But the NS2 would read the lane much earlier than the FMG, and show a kind of hook-set reaction in the back end, while the FMG has more length and back end (due to its shinier surface and the stacked drilling).
Enjoy (?), a review is about to come but will take some more testing of the nice piece on different lanes.
