You're right though, you can't change it all at once. Just don't make it such a chore that bowling isn't fun anymore!

I agree, don't overthink yourself.  It looks like you're almost dropping the ball a bit.  Maybe try some (more?) tape in the ball and try and stay low.  When you get the bounce effect it's a sign you're pulling up at the line and not getting low enough.

Your last ball (despite the 10 pin leave) was probably the best of them all.  You came around the ball beautifully, hit your mark (I think?), and stayed nice and low.  Work on a slower and lower backswing and really feel your hand come through the ball.

It worked for me!

The drilling issue is my own fault, I always had him "open up the thumb a little more" because I didn't like the snug feeling.  Also, my hand is often coming around the ball before it even gets past my hips, this is a huge part of my ball dropping problem.  My only aim tonight is to try and get the ball out further and NOT drop it.  I intend to try and stay lower and also concentrate on keeping my hand behind it.  It seems like a real problem for me, my hand just WANTS to turn.  I did put some tape in my balls already to snug up my thumb.

I scream at my friends when we practice, for 2 reasons:

1. They think they can change me like I am a robot
2. They give me four or five things to work on at once!

I have been known to turn around, drop a bowling ball on the approach and ask, "Of the 6 things I am screwing up... which one do you want me to work on first?" Keep light-hearted, and enjoy it.
