Alright, I'm going back and trying to re-evaluate my shot/style/bowling. Right now what I'm most worried about is recalculating my rev rate. Speed measurement after this was thrown was 17.2 mph.

If it's impossible to give a guesstimate off of that I'll try to do a few more, and get something measurable. Will also try to do the tape thing, too.
Axis Tilt/Rotation is another thing I'm trying to figure out, but I'll just say that the closest pro that actually deals with those numbers is about 32 miles away. May make the drive soon.

No..... a black solid ball? ;D

Go here! http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/wiki/index.php?title=Measure_Rev_Rate
Then log on to BC.net and ask there.....forum that is much more specific.

Yeah, there's way too much going on on the ball to give you a definitive number. However, I'd guesstimate you're in the neighborhood of 375-425 if that's any help.

Alright. Would it be easier for you all if I put white tape on the Blackout, or chose a brighter/mixed color ball? Could throw the Dominion, since it has the big bright yellow logo.

And thank ya, scotts! I'll definitely look into that. I'm honestly trying to get more serious about my bowling, and actually get down into the numbers of the game. All the while still trying to get my hands on my own pro sect to start getting more familiar with dual angle without having to drive forever.

Rev rate is not an exact science...due to conditions it can vary. Knowing or being in the ball park is valid...
