Robert Smith - swing and release in slow motion
« on: January 18, 2010, 12:51:48 PM »
These video clips were taken during a bowling clinic session by Robert Smith at Hong Kong Bowling City in Oct 2009. This is an original video never published before. Enjoy!

During the trip to Hong Kong he was a free agent (mostly throwing Storm/Roto but had a few hammers and global balls). After the Hong Kong trip he signed with Global 900 and is still on there current staff.

Only throw the good stuff, Roto/Global.

yeah Rob hasn't been with the Sarge Easter in a while, he feels he can control his roll now with fingertip.

I wonder if at that point of un-cupping, does it create more revs than leaving it cupped through your follow through?

much more... "snapping" the wrist at the bottom of the swing creates a much higher rev-rate than just staying cupped all the way through.

Check out Osku at the point of release.  He does not leave his wrist cupped.
