900 Global Maniac video
« on: March 10, 2009, 10:30:52 AM »
I shot this video last Saturday at my local AMF.  The manager said they laid out a "modified house shot" for a tournament that was taking place on the last 15 lanes of the center.  When I asked him what a "modified house pattern" was, he said that the volume was increased and I could expect little recovery from outside the 10.  Didn't seem like all that difficult of a shot.  Click on the "HD" button at the bottom right of the video if you want to view a clearer version.

This ball has a simple move that is predictable.  I'm pretty sure that I'll have good results with this ball at my Thursday night mixed league.  Any constructive criticism on how to improve my bowling or the video is always appreciated.

when you move in i would work on your armswing, trying to get it more inside-out rather than so straight..you tend to get ball away from ankle when moved in and it doesnt allow you to play more in to out...and keep your and under ball a bit...i like your game but it looks like up the board is more of your comfort zone...but your lefty so thats expected, just kiddin

I was right!  I used the Maniac my third game in league tonight.  Guessed wrong on the first shot and went through the nose leaving the big four.  Missed everything on the spare, but then made a one board adjustment and threw 11 in a row for a 276.  Can't say enough good things about this ball.
