short video clip of full approach....looking for feedback
« on: March 03, 2010, 10:33:13 AM »
Been out of bowling for about ten years.  I'm looking to get back into bowling, so I took a little video clip of me.  Any feed back is welcome shall it be good, or bad.  Thanks

A little more knee bend when releasing  the ball and stay underneath and behind the ball more.

i would say slow down, i see there that u are forcing the swing by having such a fast timming, with nowaday equipments u dont really need to force the ball to hook, just let go should be good enough. unless u r in a very dry lane.

think about this, u want to walk slower, by the u want to take the power step,3rd step in ur case, u should have the ball comming near the top of the backswing. by the time u make ur 3rd step, there should be a small pause at the top of the backswing and let it fall. wrist in strong position, and uncup and follow thru

now, for additional revs at this last part, when the swing comes down, u have to be patient and wait til the ball reaches the heel of ur sliding foot, then hit it upwards. have this in mind when doing this, swing comes down, wait wait wait, hit. i dont really recommend this, but it really depends what u are looking for

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.
