Video: Working on footwork, side and back views!

Well, at the very least I'm getting better at putting together videos, and they really do help!

If you aren't watching 'The Wire,' the government should be forced to come to your house and repossess your television. END OF STORY!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

BOB:  Did you see the way she was lookin' at me?
DOUG:  Yeah, because she thought you were some kind of freak!

Splendor-
It looks to me like you are starting your swing late in relation to your feet. You don't have much of a pushaway so it is hard to tell but it does not look like you are not getting the ball moving until your third step whereas it should move forward along with your right leg on your second step. This is leaving you slightly off balance at the line because you either have to wait for the ball to catch up or pull the ball through the bottom of the swing which can lead to release inconsistancies. Hope this helps and keep up the hard work. Bowl great!

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't... you're probably right.

quote from a professional level coach: " if u are going to tape urself, ask for a even lane (with no ppl beside) and tape from behind, sideway (from the right side) and if possible in front."

i dont take all the suggestions from a pro, but i do agree on this one, if u do it that way we all can see whats happening during the approach (the video u made is good, but could be better if it were from right side)

from the sideview, i would say make ur steps more even, or in a increasing way. what i mean is ur right step are always way longer than the left step. since u do muscle little bit to get the backswing higher, u definitely have to make a 3rd step longer so u give it time for the backswing to get up.

from the behind, it looked bad at the beginning but u did it perfectly on the last few shots where ur sliding foot step more toward the center. if ur intention was to show the difference, then the adjustment was perfect.
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

Aphelion--

That was actually something that I have been struggling with for awhile without really realizing it.  My slide foot was NOT sliding out in front of me like it should, and I was being thrown off balance on nearly every shot because of it.

No Open--

I will try to get the ball started sooner, but it's going to be awkward for awhile!

IMO.....quit posting video's splendorlex as well intentioned as most of us are a good coach with the use of video is going to help you in the long run. You just can't go on all these well intentioned folks opinions.  If you haven't found the right coach keep looking.  You're leaving yourself wide open to many changes.  Work with a coach on a few points of improvement.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.

The biggest thing I see is you need to get the ball moving on your second step and slow your feet down.  Try to just walk to the line like you would walk down the street, nice and relaxed and even paced.  This will help you get in time and allow you to stop dropping the ball.
