The most immediate thing I noticed was that you have late timing, in other words you let go of the ball well after you have arrived at the line. I used to do the same thing, thinking I was getting a little more hand into it, but found out later that more precise timing gave me a much better ball reaction.
For me, I want to release the ball into a roll (very little/no loft) and make sure the release coincides with the arrival of my plant foot to the foul line. In other words, my foot stops and I release the ball at the same time.
Obviously everyone is different, and what works for me may not work for you, but that is the first thing I would try if you were looking to change something.
