Intended Purpose:
Ball #1: On medium, to medium-heavy conditions, I wanted a ball that was clean through the heads but that I could control the breakpoint with. Having thrown the Siege, I thought that this ball would be great for this. I assumed that with the pearl cover, and the hard rolling core of the Siege, that this ball would give more pop off of the spot, but that the core would help it control the breakpoint really well.
Ball #2: After throwing ball #1 for a couple of weeks (and not being able to pry it out of my hands in tournaments or leagues), I wanted a similar reaction, but I wanted it to be a little earlier and smoother. Basically, I wanted to have a 1-2 punch with the same characteristics. If ball #1 was going a little too long, I could throw ball #2 or vice versa.
Comments:
Carry –
Ball #1: The ball stores a lot of energy for the backend and sends the pins side to side very well. The ball is continuous through the pins and has excellent carry. There is little deflection as the ball enters the pins which is definitely a plus on most conditions and angles.
Ball #2: The ball is about 3-5 feet earlier than ball #1. It does not store as much energy due to this fact, and it does not do as good of a job sending pins from side to side. There is little deflection, but the hit is a little flatter than ball #1. With that being said, it is still a great carrying piece on fresh conditions for me.

Ball #1: This ball is phenomenal for me. It is the ball that I use as a benchmark, or you can say it is the first ball out of my bag. This ball is clean through the heads and it controls the breakpoint very well (which is what I had hoped when I drilled it up). The ball is playable from multiple angles and it carries well from any angle that I have used it. It is one of those balls that is an everything ball for me. Carry is way above average, and it can handle varying amounts of oil.
Ball #2: This ball excels on fresher conditions or on conditions where even more control is needed. It is great on tournament conditions due to how well it manages the breakpoint (this is side to side and front to back for me). It has an aggressive roll to it, and carry is very good from outside angles.

Ball #1: I don’t really have any problems with this ball. It does almost everything I ask of it. I notice track wear a little quicker than what I am used to with most Brunswick equipment. This means a little more maintenance.
Ball #2: When I have to move in, this balls carry suffers a little. Due to how hard it rolls, it is not as continuous as ball #1. This does not allow me to use it very long for most blocks. I notice track wear a little quicker than what I am used to with most Brunswick equipment. This means a little more maintenance.
Overall: To me, this is the best ball out there right now. It gives you almost everything that you can want from any one ball. Drilling differences can really affect what you get with this ball. That is noticeable even with the small pin to pap differences that I have between these two balls, but the angle difference definitely has something to do with this as well. I truly feel that anyone that gives this ball a try will be happy with it, but make sure that your pro shop operator knows your game and what you are wanting from the ball.
Thanks for reading my review.
