Copperhead
Ball Specs
The ball being drilled was a 3” pin out with 3.00 oz top weight.
Drilling: Pin 4 1/2" from PAP and Mb 4" from PAP, 1 1/2" Pin Buffer. Pin is above ring finger. Weight Hole on my axis. Factory Sanded.

Bowler Information:
Track diameter is 10 1/2.
PAP is measured at 5 1/4 over and 3/8" up.
Average ball speed (foul line to head pin) is 16 mph.
Axis rotation is typically 90 degrees
Initial rev rate is typically 300 rpm, "Tweener"
Lane Condition and Pattern:
Bowlero Lanes & New Berlin Bowl, Both Houses are HPL 9000 Panel. Oil Pattern: Fairly Flat condition from edge board to edge board, semi clean backends.

Review:
This ball replaces the popular Mid-Priced Wizard from the last two seasons. The Copperhead still uses the popular powerkoil 18 coverstock and the Low RG Rocket core of the Sidewinder. Ball reaction: this ball is cleaner through the 1st 15 feet than the Wizard and is a touch more angular than the Wizard. Hits the pins very hard for a mid priced ball. I have well over 30 games on the ball and the has shown no signs of dead ball syndrome. I am very please with this ball from Brunswick for medium to oily lanes. Thanks for reading my review.

With not so much success with the Fury line, I was in need of something strong.  I figured I'd try out the Copperhead since I love the PK18 coverstocks.  I drilled it 5" pin to pap with no hole.  The pin ended up under my middle finger.  I kept it OOB finish just to see how it was.  The first pattern I tried it on was the old 50 foot TOC.  This ball loved the long oil and was able to stay in line with a nice even roll.  The second pattern I used it on was a regular house shot.  I was able to play around 12 at the arrows out to around 8-9 at my breakpoint.  I chased it in to about 16-17 at the arrows and it finally lost some energy.  I feel with a litlle bit of shine , it would have been good all night long.  279-258 before I switched to the Swarm.  If you're looking for something with a strong roll that is very predictable than this is your ball.

HEY GUYS

THIS IS MY FIRST REVIEW SO LET ME GIVE YOU A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFO. I'm A HIGH-REV PLAYER WITH A SPEED Consistently IN THE 19MPH AREA. I DRILLED MY COPPERHEAD WITH THE TYPICAL STACKED LEVERAGE DRILL ALLOWING FOR EASY ALTERATION WITH A X-HOLE. THE BALL READS THE MID-LANE WITH EASE AND GIVES A LOT OF Mistake AREA.
USED IT IN LEAGUE THE FIRST NIGHT AFTER ROBERT LAURENCE GAVE IT TO ME AND SHOT 821. WILL UPDATE AS I GO.

This ball is great, you get the bang for your buck, had mine drilled pin 3 1/2" from PAP, and cg kicked out, OOB (800 grit) this ball was perfect for heavy oil, and i brought it down to 600 grit then polished it, and now it is so versatile i could play this ball on any oil pattern, this ball carries so well, i just shot a 280 with it in my juniors league on Wednesday, 1-28-09, i could miss my mark 1-2 boards left and right, and as long as it hits pocket it would strike

Very good mid priced ball. Has enough reaction for most bowlers on a THS. It plays well when the lanes are fried after the first shift of bowlers. Mine is drilled stack and it out performs my twisted and twisted soild, leaves the ultra zone in the dust.I can generally play all three games on my first shift with this ball moving left as the lanes dry up. For me this ball was a huge hit by Brunswick.

I just got one of these great balls and did some practice on my local house shot.  This ball definately was showing how strong it was.  I threw my other balls around 15 at the arrows to near 5-6 downlane but this ball I moved in more.  Ended up at 26 at arrows to 8 downlane!!  This ball needed major angle to get to the pocket otherwise I was hitting brooklyn.
I'm going to keep this one home until I go where there's some oil.  That's what this ball likes!!

good reaction though and predictible, but need oil to really have some fun..
