Humm....Brunswick....PowerKoil17....Rhino Pro core. I think we've seen this before. Anyway, I was looking for something to give me a nice even reaction, something as a step up from my Pulse. Put the pin on the PAP with the CG 1" past the axis on the midline. Drilled the weight out with a 1" hole 6 3/4" past the center of the grip.
Pretty simple, even reaction. Very little flare, but a bit more hook than I expected. I was looking for about 3-5 more boards of hook and I got something along the lines of 6-8. This ball is very much like an aggressively drilled Pulse.
On a 5-to-5 top hat of 37 feet, I was able to stand 20 and swing the dry without an overreaction. The only problem I ran into was the ball wanted to hook a bit early (imagine that), but I never ran into any jump-snap looks.
Overall, this ball was pretty much what I expected. An early mover with an overall smooth look to it. The Battle Zone Missle is a good all-around ball; strong roll, nice midlane move, and smooth backends. Wouldn't recommend this when the heads go away, but a great ball for medium conditions.
