Sweet!!! Or as Kate S. used to say to me, Sweeeettt,
Oh Lucky so SWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT! But that's another review!
On to the boring details that make this so SSWWWW, er um exciting!
Picked this heavier oil gem up from Liquid Hero, perfect specs, good price and fast shipping!! And a lot of patience with me! Pin out almost 4 and top weight 3 ounces!!
Laid on one of my new drillings that are becoming my favorites on this heavy load backend snapper and it is a 3 3/4 X 4 1/2 with the cg down about 1/2 inch below grip center and the pin up about an inch above ring finger and just a bit to the side. Just slightly to the label side of stacked or about a 90 degree drilling. This setup seems to give me the lefty troika, early read, lots of revs in the midlane and a stronger than arc look in the back with tons of punch and drive at the pocket. Remember Mike Tyson at 21!
Note the particulars of this setup (long pin outs never worked for me before is the cg down).
This ball has a beautiful motor! Seen it, thought it looked great and wonder what took me so long to own one!
Not really a true heaviest of oilers in my mind(but maybe it could be), but it is fairly straight in the heads and then, rev rev rev near the breakpoint, grab, charge! There is no doubt where the pins are going.
I could see grabbing 3 of this core, putting this drilling on all 3 Detonator, Eliminator and Igniter and making some serious hay! Thanks to this fantastic core.
I compared this ball to my Big hooking heads and backend Reaction Roll(drilled stacked 3 3/4), and this ball is about 3 to 4 boards straighter with foot placement(I attribute that to the higher rg core compared to the Roll)and has every bit of the same ability to turn the corner from inside and mash and trip out all 10. Say the Roll was played 17 to 9 this ball was played 14 to 8 to strike).
Whether it is the strong motor or the dynamic top weight and pin position I don't know but this ball can bring it!
A great deal of space compared to my Walter Ray and Blade Pearl and this ball which I think I will narrow by applying some Black Magic or if I don't like I may try one of finer grit trizacts.
As to heavy oil when left out of box, This ball may actually work as one will be forced to tighten up much more immediately than say Reaction Roll which one may still try to loop in the heads.
Final is this ball can bring it! It's immediately in the bag though I'm not sure if it is going to end up being more of an Eliminator with Polish or end up taking the heavy oil spot and then an Eliminator picked up!
Count me as impressed! I love the motion of this core coupled with this drilling!

PS saw a buddy of mine shoot about 789 with this drilling on this ball and I said hey I'll try that! Agrees with me!
