The Method is a longer and more angular cousin to the Magnitude 055.  In my opinion this ball fits right in the middle of the Brunswick lineup.  The Method will get a good bit of use on our house condition and on a number of moderate lane conditions.  This ball almost never starts early and provides a quick predictable response down lane.  This is another Brunswick ball that plays well from multiple lanes.  This one can go from start to finish on most league nights and is versatile enough for moderate sport conditions.  The Method has good enough length and strength to be used by most styles.  This one compares well with low rg high diff symmetrical balls from the past and present while also using Dynamacore for increased carry potential.  If your looking for a cant miss ball there is a Method for that madness.

The Method is a highly aggressive hybrid that for me rolls and reads the lane beautifully on medium to heavy patterns.  This ball continues through the pins and does not burn up too soon, as many aggressive pieces tend to do.

Mine is drilled 55 x 3 3/8 x 40, pin above and slightly to the right of ring finger.  I can see this ball matching up for all styles, if surface adjustments are necessary the ball will continue to respond well.  I really enjoy watching this ball go down the lane and get into a heavy roll.  And the DynamiCore puts the icing on the cake with unmatched hitting power.

Overall a really well designed piece that will improve performance for all league and tournament bowlers.

Drilled my Method 45x4.5x45 with the intention of having a stronger benchmark ball.  I went with the stronger layout to combat my low track (4 5/8 x 1/8" up) and concern that this ball would be too skid/flippy like most other sym hybrids I have thrown.
My initial impression was surprise at seeing how much traction this ball created.  I was worried that I would see a squirty reaction in oil, but was pleasantly surprised by the very "Brunswick" reaction of early revs, sufficient traction and strong roll on the backend.  The 3k cover gave me just enough grip to use this ball on fresh in our slick house on both the US Women's Open pattern and 44' Big Ben (our THS), but enough length and backend to still be playable at the end of the league session.

Big Ben plays really slick in our house (ice oil, flex machine, anvilane) so I was able to start right up 10 with lots of hold, migrated in slowly and still was able to kick out the corners in game 3 so long as I was soft + got my hand around the ball.  My best look with this ball has been on the 39' US Women's Open pattern.  This ball has made it look like an absolute wall giving me a look up the track early with a little more roll (had front 7, solid 8 to start this week), kept me in the pocket during transition and has given me a look going from in to out as the shot has broken down.

Compared to other balls in my bag, I did not have to move off of where I was standing with my Quantum Bias (more midlane push, quicker response to friction) and Magnitude 055 (earlier, flatter) giving me a reaction that fit right between the two.  The Method is a good ball to switch to once your tanks (Kingpin Max, Tremendous in my case) are burning up early, but is much more even rolling and predictable than most of my other midrange favorites (Beyond Ridiculous, Black Quantum).

I recommend the Method for a benchmark ball for use on medium to medium/heavy patterns.  House shots, Sport, fresh, transition - this ball will be an easy to read, safe option to get you to the pocket with a decent look.  A ball this safe and versatile belongs in everybody's bag.

Method

This has been one of the most incredible releases to date by Brunswick.  The Method combines a traction/responsive coverstock and put it around the the Magnitude .055’s core, and you have an amazing versatile ball for every bowler.  I drilled my method 60 x 4 1/2 x 40, and altered the surface and found at 1500 grit with a Siaar pad makes this ball give me precisely the motion I love.  I can easily play this ball in more volumes of oil, and even on lighter patterns.  It gets through the fronts very well, and has a strong response to friction giving this ball some very strong hitting power.  The cover is very versatile so bowlers can alter the surface to a combination that works best for them.  I really love this ball, and feel this will be a consumer favorite as well.
