First off, I find it surprising that there are not more user reviews of the True Motion.
As a follow up review to my first True Motion with Axis Layout review, I bought a second True Motion and put the strong 3 3/8" pin Full Roller layout on it.
This is the earliest and strongest Full Roller layout.
What can I say?
This True Motion with 3 3/8" pin has become my benchmark ball.
The versatility of the TM with this layout is amazing.
If the lanes have more oil I can easily move right and go up the boards, down and in.
If the oil breaks down, or if the volume is less, I can parallel left and go up second arrow and get a strong, smooth roll through the pins.
Additionally I can use the TM for all spares including the 10 pin with no fear the ball will hook away.
The TM will hook early, set, float and then right in the back, make a strong move left through the pins.
I don't know how this ball can do that.
It is urethane for the first 45 feet and then smooth control resin reaction in the back.
I have a Purple Hammer, Black Widow Urethane, Midnight Scorcher, The Crow, AMF Angle Plus and a Grizz.
The TM is the most versatile of them all.
True Benchmark urethane.
Also, on crappy hits it can get 9 out time and time again keeping me out of trouble.
The TM provides such a smooth, controlled reaction that I can make tiny, incremental adjustments to get lined up.
The other day I was going right up second arrow and the TM was coming in slightly high leaving the 7 pin.
I moved only my feet half a board left.
Still 7 pin.
Another half board.
Still 7 pin.
Another half board.
Still 7 pin.
Another half board.
High flush and strike.
I was able to repeat and a turkey appeared.
This is the kind of control in a ball that rewards accuracy.
Also, let me add, the Dynamicore is not B.S. it really hits very hard and crap hits will get pins flying all over the place.
Here is a video showing me using the TM 3 3/8".
Watch how this ball has that nice backend and how even on weak hits it shoots pins all over the place and carries.
