With the OB finish, this ball is very aggressive and will handle long and heavy patterns. I used a used 1000 abralon to slightly smooth up the surface to give me a little more length for a lighter volume 44' pattern. This allowed me to play 11 to 6 and control the pocket. When there's plenty of oil up front you can definitely move left and open up the lane. I believe this is the best solid reactive assym ball Brunswick has made.

I also put a little rough buff on as an experiment and the back end reaction increased considerably. The cover is very adjustable.

If your Twisted Fury goes too long: Dull the surface with 400-grit abrasive to get the Twisted Fury Solid to roll sooner and increase its hooking action.

Polish your Twisted Fury Solid with Brunswick’s Factory Finish Rough Buff.
If your Twisted Fury Solid still hooks too early,
Polish with Brunswick’s Factory Finish High Gloss Polish.

This ball is awesome.  Check link for drilling.  THS with good oil in the middle and outside of five is the land of no return.  The ball is clean through the heads and picks a strong midlane.  The back end is very tame and smooth.  I tried to play 13 out to about six but the ball was just not happy.  I moved in and went 18 to about 8 and it was money.  The ball does not over react at all and would be a great wet/dry ball.  For the last game I played about 23 out to 10 with lots of success and of course I had to add some hand.  The more I revved it the more it hit.  This ball will be great for my collection and anyone else.

This ball was talked up, but it is definitely NOT for me. Reviews are telling me that it should be good for heavy oil (which I struggle most on), but I have to be on very dry conditions to get a reaction. When I do get reaction on from the ball, I get no carry. Maybe it came from the factory as a lemon, I'm not sure. So I went back to my T-Road solid, and started striking again

i haven't bought a brunswick ball since a i had a wine color rhino back in the day. i went to a pba pro-am and they where selling them for 100 dollars back in 08. i had this drilled up for max hook. i have bowled a 700 with this which is a respectable score (once). had to play straight up 3 really slow not really my shot. i was hoping for something for heavy oil and wasn't really impressed.
