Description: Take your bowling game to a state of Ultimate Nirvana!  The Brunswick Ultimate Nirvana bowling ball features the Nirvana Ultra Low RG core and surrounds it with the ECS (Enhanced Composite Segmentation) Hybrid coverstock.  The ECS Hybrid coverstock technology allows this ball to produce a powerful down lane motion and a wider sweet spot to eliminates the need for a lot of adjustments.  This technology also produces a quicker refresh rate and an extended performance life for the coverstock.  The core is a single density rounded elliptical inner core that is uniquely created to optimize ball motion and allow various drilling options to gain pin action and higher scores.  This ball is finished with a 4000 grit Siaair Micro Pad that gives it added length through the front of the lane with exceptional backend continuation on medium to oily lane conditions.

Ultimate Nirvana
I drilled this ball 70 x 4 1/2 x 40 putting the pin above the fingers.  The hybrid cover stock paired with the Nirvana Ultra Low RG core makes this ball get through the front easily, storing its energy for great continuation and consistency down lane.  Drilling it with a pin up the ball still rolls on a very hard, smooth arc to the pocket, and drives through the pin deck.  Adjustments with this ball are easier then most because of the predictability of its ball motion down lane.  I absolutely love this ball and feel it matches up really well on almost all lane conditions.

Drilled my Ultimate Nirvana 55x5x45 (pin over bridge) as an option to give me the shape of my Nirvana but on normal volumes of oil.
The first thing that I noticed was how heavy it rolls in the midlane - like a true Brunswick ball, yet continues down the lane and keeps on rolling through the pins.  The Ultimate Nirvana has a very strong cover that can handle med/heavy oil, yet gives me decent length with an average move off the back of the pattern.  So far I have used it on 37' Broadway, a couple of THS but my best look has been on fresh lanes on 45' Route 66 where I had 300 my second game out crossing just left of 4 arrow out to 12.

In terms of strength the Ultimate is a couple of boards weaker than my Nirvana and Grudge, but by not being super dull out of box allows me to use this ball on a wider range of conditions.  Against my symmetrics (Divas, Ridiculous), the Ultimate Nirvana allows me to move in an average 4 boards by being both stronger in cover strength and the core revving up a lot harder.  The Ultimate Nirvana usually has me about 2 boards left of my Brainiac, Vandal or Melee Hook as it begins to roll up sooner.

The Ultimate Nirvana has the traction and hook to deal with all of my oil needs at the league and local level.  Its heavy midlane roll and continuation down the lane allow me to take advantage of the friction as it develops, yet corner enough to chase the oil in for a couple of games.  I prefer to be proactive by staying ahead of transition, so by the third game I typically want to start shelling down to my Pearl Asyms (Vandal) or my mid range symmetrics (Divas, Ridiculous) to continue to read the lane correctly.

I was really anticipating this release. After throwing the original I was looking for a stronger ball that was a bit cleaner. The Ultimate serves this purpose but still needs decent volume and length to be used the best.

I drilled mine 50x5x30. This gave me a little more length but the cover is so strong that I needed to add polish. Once I added polish I was able to use this more on the house condition. This ball does fit nicely in between the original Nirvana and the Brainiac. I look forward to using this more on a longer and heavier pattern to use this ball to its full ability

The Ultimate Nirvana is the new piece in the Hook Line. The new hybrid ECS composite coverstock is wrapping around the Nirvana core. That creates a more angular motion down lane and a lot of drive through the pin.
The reason why I chose the Ultimate Nirvana is because I want a strong asymmetrical ball with more control. That’s why I drilled it 60x5x70. Seriously, I never seen a ball that has so much drive through the pins like that ball. That’s kinda fascinating me. I adjust the surface 3 times to bowl on THS twice, Montreal 41’ once, the Sunset Strip once and the cover response very well to those changes.
If you think the original Nirvana was a great bowling ball, I dare you to try the new Ultimate Nirvana and you will not be disappointed.

The Composite Coverstock technology train continues!  The Ultimate Nirvana is a longer and stronger version of the original Nirvana.  The Nirvana is a great ball for oilier conditions but can be a bit early for our house shot.  The Ultimate Nirvana is the answer for this situation.  It recovers very well when missing right of target on the house shot and creates quite a bit of room.  It excels as the games go on as you have to move further and further into the slickest part of the lane. The Ultimate Nirvana is about 2 and 1 stronger than the original and several feet longer.  It has been a pleasure to throw and thus far it has shown to be every bit as durable as other Composite Cover balls.  For a ball that hooks fairly soon it has quite a bit of down lane energy and really carries the pins well. League night is a lot of fun standing left and throwing right with this new beast!  It is the total package as far as versatile, stronger equipment is concerned and will continue to get quite a bit of use.  The Ultimate Nirvana combines overall hook and power into an attractive package that will work on a variety of medium to oily conditions.

I've used this ball primarily on WTBA Tokyo and Kegel Autobahn, both in the 42' - 44' range.  Grips the midlane like snow tires, while skating through the heads cleanly.  I have mine drilled pin above ring finger and have been able to use it on just about any pattern of medium length or greater.

It revs up nicely for me without hooking early or burning up at the pins.  I've found on a fair amount of volume that I can start on the fresh with my original Nirvana, and switch to this ball once the transition happens.  The ball motion for me is later than the original, but not much different in overall hook.

A good option to have in your bag.

The Ultimate Nirvana is the latest HP release from Brunswick. It’s the follow-up to the hugely popular Nirvana. I laid this one out a little different than what I normally do for strong Asymmetric bowling balls. I went pin down, CG kicked out about an inch off of midline, no balance hole. I wanted a true game 1 ball in my bag for the fresh and heavier shots where I needed the ball to pick up a little earlier. I got it haha! It’s about 3-4 feet earlier on the lane than the original Nirvana and it’s quite a bit stronger off the spot. It turned out to be great on spotty backends, allowing me a consistent read where my pin up Nirvana would flutter a little. Great choice for the fresh and heavier patterns. As with most strong surface equipment, maintain your cleaning and surface on this one as it does lane shine fairly quickly, although I haven’t noticed a decrease in reaction as of yet. Shows you how much oil it can soak up!

I have a 3.5x1.5x3.5 layout on my Ultimate Nirvana. I hit the surface with a 4000 pad and love the way this ball picks up the mid lane and still has a great backend motion. My first 3 series were 731, 771, & 785. Also shot 300 & 800 with it a few weeks later. Get your Ultimate Nirvana today!

Brunswick Ultimate Nirvana (http://www.bowlwithbrunswick.com/balls/detail/ultimate-nirvana/)
70 x 5 x 35 (OOB Surface)

Personal Stats:
400-450 RPM
18-20 MPH
PAP - 5 5/8" over, 1" up
Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees
Current League Average: 238

Intended Use:
With the my go-to pin-up layout, I was looking for a motion that was complimentary to my original Nirvana. Strong asymmetric with a sharper motion from the layout.

Reaction:
Nailed the reaction I was looking for. The strong cover revs up well in the midlanes, but doesn't overhook too early, thanks to the layout. Gives me a nice medium-strong motion that has been great on both house patterns and flatter patterns when I want to be steeper though the front of the lane.

Overall:
I have used this ball a lot more than I thought I would. I normally can't use stronger asymettrics on house patterns because they burn up too much energy early, but the layout on this Ultimate Nirvana makes it a BEAST! This is definitely a ball that fits both the typical house bowler and the weekend warrior looking for a strong-medium ball to fill a hole in their arsenal. /font][/size]

This ball has become my benchmark ball. I added some polish to the box finish, and I've used a pretty standard pin above the ring finger drilling. I've used this consistently on the stone street pattern, and it is amazing. The ball is clean through the front of the lane, and makes an awesome turn off of the break point. The polish on mine seemed to make it all the more forgiving. It retains energy through the pins extremely well, and provides great pin carry. This is a home run ball for Brunswick. I don't see many bowlers that couldn't find a great use for the Ultimate Nirvana. It really is the perfect compliment to the original Nirvana or a ball such as the DV8 Grudge. When those balls are burning up, I can step right into the Ultimate Nirvana and keep striking.

Likes:low to med rev bowler, drilled an Ultimate Nirvana with the pin down using a dual layout of45x3 3/34x 60 with a P3 hole and this ball delivers in every way. drilled this for a very poor 40 ft house shot that outside 7 is out of bounds and my my favorite shot is in that area, so this ball allows me to move inside play around 10-12 and gives me the reaction I need for this shot. This ball is so clean up front, allows me to get the ball on my desired path, creates tremendous midlane energy makes the hook to roll transition as well as any ball I have every thrown in my 50+ years of bowling and the carry power exceeds all my expectations, I believe this is a great ball choice for most bowlers, find yourself a certified usbc ball fitter and you cannot go wrong with The Ultimate Nirvana

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc. ) THS

Comments: This ball is amazing, I was looking for a strong asymmetrical with a 4000 surface that blended out the lanes but was strong. This ball does all of that and more, I am able to start the night out with this ball and as the nighties on chase it to the inside and just keeps coming and never quits. This is the perfect benchmark ball foe med / heavy patterns. It to me has a little more length than the original and stronger on the backend. I have used this ball for just the last 3 weeks and it is tough to pry it out if my hands.
