I punched my ultra zone up two days ago, I wanted to get a few games on the ball before posting...

My specs.
PAP: 5 1/2 > 1/8 ^
Speed: 17 mph

3 3/4 inch pin.

Layout.
Pin is 3 1/2 in from my pap.
PSA is 5 1/2 in from my pap.
Pin is slightly higher than fingers.
No weight hole was necessary.

Lane conditions: full synthetic lanes typical house shot.
Ultra cleared the heads nicely, had an excellent mid-lane read and made a very smooth but powerful move at the break point. Pin carry was excellent, I left a few flat tens but that was operator error. What I really like about this ball is I saw absolutely no over under reaction which alot of other guys were having to deal with. Finished out first night 720 then last night 680. All in all its a very predictable ball that will be great on medium to heavier patterns.
I will post more next week after trying it out on some tougher conditions.

After seeing how clean the Twisted's enmotion cover was I decided to drill this one strong.

After putting roughly 15 games on it at two houses I'm quite comfortable with this review/recommendation.  This Ultra Zone appears to be a "can't miss" purchase for anyone wanting a strong midlane and finish without being too sharp off the breakpoint. It handles medium oil easily and when the shot starts breaking down you simply cross more boards!
 
Cleaner through the heads than the Blast Zone, and a stronger move late. Earlier read than the Twisted Fury.  The Ultra hasn't even thought about rolling out - it just continues on through the pin deck.  Pin carry has been quite good with the exception of "bowler error".

alright.... i haven't left a review in a long time, but this ball is very deserving of one.  here is how it is drilled

this ball hooks!!!  extremely controlable, great length, clears the heads, midlane recover is fantastic, then just hits like a truck.  the ball turns over so hard in the back end it leaves nothing left.  out of 20 complete frames with the ball, i left one stone 10 pin, but i am pretty sure it was all me on that one.

I am not sure what the problem is but drilled this ball for maximum hook and arc and it does one, but not the other.  This ball just floats, floats and floats and hits like a wet noodle.  This is a typical reaction I have gotten from Brunswick equipment so maybe it is just me but this ball hits like crap.  I will likely sell it now and let someone else deal with it but this ball neither hooks or carries.  On the same shot I threw my Wrath and it not only outhooked it but carried 18-20 shots.  I would say this ball is a 5 out of 10 easily, but just my opinion.  Good luck.

14lbs. Pin below and between fingers, about 60 degrees mb placement. no x-hole.
Definitely clean in the front, strong in the midlane and smooth and off the breakpoint. By no means flippy or erratic. However, this ball does need a fresh amount of oil to keep it on line. Get it to a dry spot too early and it will run away. This one quickly replaced my stacked ebonite big time for my benchmark because of its better ball motion at the end of the lane. This is my first brunswick ball and certainly not my last.

Well I drilled this ball about a month ago, and oh my. What a great match-up for me. The lay-out used was a 40* by 4in by 70* with the PSA drilled out with an x-hole. My first set I used it I had 813 (267,259,287) in my Saturday youth league. The ball gets down-lane pretty well, good midlane, and is pretty forward at the breakpoint. For me, it seems like my best chances of scoring is to get the ball into a nice roll at the pocket. And this ball does exactly that. I used it to win the Ohio High School Singles Championship, had 1487 for 6 games that day. Then I used it this past Saturday for the Pepsi State and had 1480, while using my Twisted Fury the last 2 games. Great ball for the fresh. Ball is kept at the out of box surface.

This is a short review.  I wanted to make this ball stronger then my twisted but not as strong as my blast zone when its at 1000 drilled pin down.  I drilled this ball pin up and just a shade right of the ring finger.  Cg is in the palm just right of center.  The mb is to the right of the thumb about an inch.  The lane was a litte dry on the outside but had plenty left in the middle.  I started a 4th arrow out to about 8 and the ball was smooth of the spot and would come up light.  I would roll my twisted in the same spot and it would go flush I was confused to say the least.  So I got real deep and played 5th arrow out to 10, this is where the ultra was a star.  It rolled up in the mid-lane where the twisted would just keep going and crushed the whole.  At the break point it would just rolled hard and killed the pocket.   So far for three games of bowling the ball is really good but i want to see it on so real oil.
