Why are there no posts. Every one should be pumped about this ball. Back in the day I used to have a ton of different Zones. Danger Zone, Red Alert, Command Zone, Command Zone Arc, and needless to say they all were great. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the Danger Zones and threw it down the lane last night and my god. If it didn't give me chills from the flashbacks of 15 years ago with the ball motion. Smooth through the front part of the lane and flipped over and went side ways to the pocket. Ok that was exaggeration, not really side ways but really angular and smashed the pocket. I continued to throw a 280 right off the drill press. Only leaving a stone 8 pin.

All I'm saying if you wanna get nostalgic on the lanes pick one of these up when they get released. You will not be disappointed.

The Vintage Danger Zone is just like the hype about it was.  It rolls just like the orignal Danger Zone.  The ball is clean and very continuous through the midlane to the backend.  I laid mine to provide and little bit more length and more angular motion.  This ball to me is gonna be the game changer ball of the year.

Duh!

I absolutely love this ball!!!!!!!! For some reason I seem to have really good luck with these light bulb cores. For me this ball gets through the heads with ease and has a nice predictable break point. Its not overly aggressive but it's not weak either. It is a strong kind of smooth. Has good carry. I know it's only been a couple weeks with this ball but I have not left hardly any ten pins with it. This is the type of ball you pull out of your bag first.

Intent: The original Danger Zone was a little bit before my time. Even without the nostalgia in my heart, I knew this was THE ball of the mid to late 1990s. With the updated core and cover, the DZ looked to be an all-purpose ball that would see a lot of play. I went with one of my favorite layouts with this one to help make for an extremely versatile piece.
On the lanes: The DZ is easily one of the most versatile balls I’ve thrown. Low RG cores and solid covers always tend to be very forgiving, more so on fresher patterns. With the DZ, it’s now my benchmark ball and tends to be my go-to on anything remotely around medium-ish length and medium-ish volume. The DZ is the strongest ball in the Vintage line with the LT-48 being a nice complement on the lower side. Just above the DZ I’d place the Melee Hook if you’re looking at the range of solid symmetricals. I have the DZ at about 4 boards stronger than the LT-48 and about 2 weaker than the Melee Hook. The past few weeks this ball has been destroying my house shot. I believe that the DZ is one of the most practical options for house shots. The versatility allows for following the shot throughout the night and will succeed at multiple angles provided that you aren’t on something extremely dry or flooded. Outside of house shots, for those bowlers looking for something on tougher patterns, it’s hard to not have a low RG solid in the bag.
Final Thoughts: The legend has returned and it’s only proper to relive history with this piece. The well-roundedness of the DZ makes for a great value since the ball has such as large window of capability.

Likes:  The Danger Zone allows me to play straighter through the heads with a perfect read of the friction.  Not too angular, yet not lazy either.  So far carry has been very good.  Very few corner pins!  The polished black cover looks great on the lane.  This one reminds me of how the original reacted on patterns of 20 years ago.  LOVE IT!!

The Danger Zone Vintage is an updated version of the original Danger Zone that was wildly successful in years past.  The last version was before my time but if it was half as good as this one it must have been pretty darn good.  This ball is the symmetrical piece most successful tournament bowlers are looking for.  It has good length, a smooth strong read down lane, and is very consistent. You can play inside with it, outside with it, and anywhere in between.  This ball has already proven to be a good option on our house shot and at a local sport shot tournament.  I use it a step down from my melee hook.  It hooks a few boards less and has a little better length.  If you missed out on it before don't miss out now.  Get in the Zone with the new Vintage Danger Zone and enjoy the versatility of the new Brunswick technology!
