Question
« on: November 28, 2005, 12:21:38 AM »
Ok guys im new to the brunswick stuff but im liking it very much.....i recently bought three brunswick balls (an absolute, a rampage, and a punisher) off of a guy and I love them all.....they are all drilled pin under ring with the CG kicked slightly right out of the palm......the absolute has a weight hole down in the thumb quandrant and rolls extremely well.....I am a pretty average player with a decent amount of revs and slower ball speed in the range of 14-15.5 mph.....my question to you guys would be on the vapor zone or the smokin inferno....which would work better for a good hard reaction but still pretty controllable....any questions you may have just PM and I will reply...thanks in advance

Since you have an Absolute Inferno, I'd go with the Smokin' Inferno because the Vapor Zone is much like the Absolute unless you go for a different drilling and/or cover prep.

The Smokin and the Vapor are totally different reactions.  My Smokin is long and very strong at the break point.  It handles tighter backends quite well.  The Vapor is a souped up Absolute.  I love this ball!!!  It is clean thru the fronts, reads the midlane well and arcs hard on the backend.  If you like the reaction of the Absolute, GET THE VAPOR!!!  You wont be dissappointed.  It will be stronger than the Absolute at the breakpoint though.  If you want a different look, more length and snap for the lighter patterns, go with the Smokin.  If it were me I would go with the Vapor, you already have a Punisher for light and the Rampage for medium.  Good luck hope this helps.
