Monster Slay/R for REALLY Snap happy lanes?
« on: September 26, 2006, 11:10:46 AM »
Hey guys, I'm bowling on concreate with sharp backends or so it seems.  With my normal release I am off the 5th arrow to start of my series and it only gets worse from there.  Currently I tried using a dulled vapor zone b/c it burns up and turns less and my quantum fire drilled to be a dry lane ball (4l?) on brunswicks chart. I also have an Original Thunder Road Pearl from 9 yrs ago that is usually great for light oils.  But to no avail with any of those on this shot.   I need a ball that will be LONG and SMOOOOOOOOOOTH I am looking for a ball that comes off the break with a urethane like break and plastic like length, can I get that out of a Slay/R?  I mean if it hooks NO more than plastic that is GREAT but just give me a touch more consistancy at the break and I can be happy.

Thanks Nick, I agree the 6th is doable, but I'm litterally tossing the gutter by the 3rd game and thats my issue.  Taking hand out is not easy for me as I don't really hit the ball I just hold no pressure and let it roll so its not like I really try to rotate it.  If anything I am at about 5/8 of my potential rotation at this point, I guess I need to just go back to about 1/4... if I can figure out what pressures give me that.  ahh well I'll give it a shot tonight and see what happens.
