Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!

Have anyone shine up your UI? And if so how did you like the reaction? I bowl in a dry house and was considrng putting polish to mine. Just to get it further down the lanes.Let me know
Thank you

I polished mine up since it was burning up in my house. It definately looked better and got down the lane a bit easier. Still, it was way too strong drilled 4" pin-pap. Got down the lane easier and had more pop on the backend. Works well if you like a nice controlled reaction on your THS. But in tournaments with more oil down, the polished surface was a bit too squirty in oil. The 800 grit finish is much better suited toward that kind of environment.

I tried it on mine, and it's definitely too strong even shined. I'd try to get a Smokin' and use for that condition IMO.

this is one aggressive reactive ball. even smooth sanded very fine and highly polished it's not meant for drier lanes unless your ball speed is well above average( 22+mph ).

Not sure if it's me, but I get hardly any reaction from my UI when shined, I dull mine and it's a monster! I'm a high rev, deep line bowler, could be different than others but dulled my UI hits like a train!
