I was voicing some frustration about this ball in another thread I started, but what a difference a resurface makes!
I tried this ball at 1000 polished (my standard benchmark surface), 2000, and 500 + compound and it was a complete dud. I took it back to OOB (500/compound/polish) and yesterday busted it out on a freshly oiled house shot. I left a flat 7 (aargh!) for a 299 -- my highest game ever!
I don't think I realized how strong the cover is. But after adding polish, the ball went effortlessly through the mids. Standing on 22 it would break at 10 in a gentle arc and get it's business done.
I have had so much success with Brunswick's new equipment that it might be time to dump all of their old equipment I am still using (Quantums, Rhino Pros, etc.)
You guys were all right about this ball!
