Fury Pearl vs. One Pearl
« on: April 27, 2009, 11:48:03 PM »
I currently throw a One Pearl and i have the opportunity to pick up a fury pearl at a good price. How do these compare? Does the fury pearl have to be drilled extra strong like the twisted fury line balls to get it to hook properly? I had that problem with my wild ride and would like to avoid doing that again....

The Fury pearl is a great ball. The core revs up easier than the asymmetrical twisted core, so put your favorite layout on it. Factory surface is 4000 abralon (I think) which was very good for me. Good luck.

My guess is that it will be a little more smooth off the breakpoint than the One Pearl, but that's just a guess since I haven't thrown the One.

The fury pearl is a very underrated ball because of the fury soild. Fury pearl is a very strong pearl with a unique roll. The fury will be stronger then the one pearl. The one is more of a backend ball and the fury has nice mid lane read with stronger backend movement. I would pick it up and you will be happy. Nice 1 2 punch pearl set up

I love my Fury Pearl, It's my go to ball when the lanes are doing weird things. Very easy to get a read on the lane, and the carry is phenomenal. It really takes to hand position adjustments well.

Square up or swing it out, great versatile ball.

Fury Pearl is my favorite in the Fury line. In terms of the One Pearl, I think the Fury Pearl revs easier, has a good midlane read with strong continuous move. One Pearl is stronger over all with most of its move on the backend. It does not rev like the Fury Pearl...both reactions are a little different and complement one another.

I agree with a previous post...put your favorite layout on the Fury Pearl. I like mine at 2K Abralon
