Well boys and girls, looks like this could be a ball that lives up to the hype!!

Drilled my Alpha Max pin down, under the ring finger, because the last few balls I have drilled were pin over the fingers. CG/MB strong, positive, but no extra hole. I hit it lightly with some rough buff, as I knew I could not throw this ball with the factory finish where I bowl league at. (Brunswick synthetics, typical house pattern, slight OB/hang outside of 6) I bowled a couple games before league and started with the Wicked Seige, shot 246 with this ball. The Alpha Max was only about 3 and 2 stronger, but it handled the puddle in the middle much better. Shots that were missed left would be 2 pins or buckets with the Wicked Seige were strikes or ring 10 pins with the Alpha Max.

278 with a 10 pin in the 4th and a solid 9 on the fill ball. Ball missed the 9 pin by a good 3 inches, this ball was going sideways!!! 255, 258 the last two. Only moved about 4-5 boards all night, and this ball made the corner no problem. I think Brunswick has finally made a ball that can be used for heavy oil, but still has some bite on the back end, without hooking at your toes. $50 rebate to the customer isn't terrible either.

Nice bowling Mike...this $50 rebate that Brunswick is offering should stir up some sales on this new release...It's one of the best deals to come along in a long time for the consumer...

btw, you left out how much you won in the pots...

What kind of angles and pin distance is that for you?

3 13/16 pin to PAP (PAP 4 9/16> 3/4 ^). MB angle is 60 degrees.

Great shooting, Mike. Mine should be drilled this week, but I did throw the Loaded Revolver on Tuesday and I LOVE it!!

I like solid shell balls better than pearls usually. Without watching you bowl, I might feel the Wicked is more versatile overall. Think the Wicked would be smoother overall, which is better to me on a challenging pattern.

Just curious. Which do you feel is the ball you will use more, the Wicked or the Alpha. Was just going to order a Wicked when they announced the Alpha. I don't bowl THS, we bowl on Kegel Challenge patterns only. I guess you could describe me as a power stroker. Thanks for your opinion in advance.
