First set out of the box with my Total that Joe from allstartbowling drilled up for me. . .went 290, 268, 279=837! Only thing that kept me from a higher 800 was stone 9 and stone 8 pins. THIS THING HITS LIKE A TANK!!!
This was also my first 800! What an 800 it was!
will do a review for ya later!
Thanks,
Chrispy

I got mine Monday and threw 2 games of 267 and 279. Little longer than I expected as I got one finsihed with a higher gloss (first batch). 4 1/2 inch pin to pap (over fingers), low hole on VAL. IMO not as angular as the Radical but much more continous and the hit is great. I think this cover is a little weaker than the Octane cover as I could keep the Total in the track with no surprises. Sometimes the Radical tends to break lose from the track. This lower RG core in the Total just keeps trucking thru the pins. More than likely this ball will cause me to retire the Vapor, as they are so similiar in reaction thru the front part of the lane. As for the Mammoth, its about as "hook-stop" as Ive ever seen. Polished its a little better, but not as good as I wouldve liked.

Thanks everyone!
D-pat: It is drilled pin in between ring and middle finger and up by about 1 1/2 inches, cg in palm.
The reaction is absolutely amazing! This has to be the SMOOOOTHEST rolling ball i have ever thrown. On top of extreme versatility, I swear this thing might be illegal the way it carries EVERYTHING. And when i say everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING. 10 pins- gone! 7 pins- gone! You could leave a freakin 4-6-7-10 and kamikazi messengers would come out of nowhere and take everything out. Only thing it had trouble doing was hitting too hard and leaving solid 9 and 8 pins.
As compared to my Radical- it is much smoother off the breakpoint, and carries a lot more. It also reads the midlanes a lot better and slides when you play straight up, yet you throw it out to far and grabs early and comes back for a solid pocket hit.
As compared to the Absolute- It is much stronger and gets into a roll a little earlier, but the backend is more continuous and stronger.
Suprisingly, I would almost say it was a mix of and absolute and an ultimate put together and made stronger overall.
Thanks again Brunswick, you guys, once again, have made an another amazing bowling ball. Keep up the good work!!!
Also, another update from HS practice yesterday, I threw it my Total again and shot 469 for 2 games. Cant wait to use this in HS match play!!!
Thanks,
Chrispy

Great shooting. How did this ball compare with your other balls? I am debating on getting one. I wasn't reall happy with the Radical.
did you try changing the surface. This ball does work really well with different surfaces.

Great shooting Chrispy. Congratulations on your 800. Ball sounds like a winner.

You have a proshop in your signiture, which i'm guessing you either work there or are in good with them, yet you bought a ball online? Just out of curiosity why? Oh and nice series too.

Brunswick,Lane#1,Morich,Hammer,Ebonite,Columbia,AMF,Storm,RotoGrip,Track......they all leave ten pins, I swear after I try dynothane and lanemaster if the ten pin is still there I might begin to think it might just be
me...... (finally decided to add a signature)
Good question actually. . .Due to the fact that the The pro shop i work at doesnt seem to get new stuff till MUCH later than I can get it from Joe(and that it is released), I just buy it from Joe. BUT, if it is something that has been out for a while, I will buy it from the pro shop. example- I got my 2nd absolute from the pro shop a month or two ago. Absolute has been out for a while, I get serious discounts, and I can drill em up however i want to. Therefore, i just get them out of the shop.
John Ski- I got it from Joe, who seems to always have the newest stuff at the absolute best prices. Hes one helluva dude!
Thanks,
Chrispy
