Slingshot mini review first impressions
« on: March 27, 2010, 03:29:50 AM »
I am a 360 rev lefty with being a little more speed dominant at times.

drilling was pin 5inch to pap and cg was 41/2 to pap with my pap at 5 1/8 over and 3/4 up which placed my pin above and to left of bridge and cg was just above thumb hole had really long pin 5 inch pin

I bowled three games in league with my slingshot on old wood 38 foot ths.  I had one other lefty on my pair with lot less revs throwing a 800 grit diamondback. was standing on 12 throwing it at 8 at arrows out to 4 and the sling shot would come hard arching back into pocket.  Other lefty throwng sae line as me andhad to migrate in when the head oil went away not me. I had to move one board all night. I started off first game too far in and only shot 216 was playing 10 to 8 was getting perfect or wouldnt hook out of that shot but this is first time with this ball so wasnt used to it yet. Line up in 10th.  Second game had front 7, left a 7 count due to completely dumping it at line never had a chance to get back converted spare. Then went off sheet for 277.Third game sent one out early in first ball went thru face left 2 pins converted and then had the next 7. Then i dumped another left same 7 count and converted again. Had a chance to shoot 267. 9th and first one in tenth went about as high flush as you can get and tripped out 8-ten and 6-8 respectively first sign of going high but this was me in hindsight putting more on the ball. so I moved in tenth 2 boards right and left a ringing 7 for 256 all in all a great first night with slingshot shot a good 749. This ball is really smooth off spot no over reaction even when got it out early it almost stayed in hole. It has to have dry to react any carry down for get it.  But this is just what i needed for this house. Bowled on the tight side of the house sunday i will bowl on the other side that hooks more i update then.  For those that have above avg hand and are looking for something to get into the dirt with and dont have to move this is your money maker!  Cant say enough about this ball cant wait to drill another one pin down with a little surface to open it up a little for price and way it rolls why not.
