I had my first 300 with my SI last night. My set was 189,300,265. I have had this ball for about a month now and found it to be one of the best balls I have ever thrown. It is 16# drilled 2L. It took me 24 years to get a 300. I been so close so many times. It was nice to get the monkey off my back.

Congratulations on your 1st 300 game. Now that you have your 1st one, the rest will come easier now.
I am still working on my 1st sanctioned 300, the 4 I have are non-sanctioned unfortunately. Again, Congrats.

Congrats on the 300! My Smokin' has been a great ball so far, and I feel like my first 3 will come with it too.

Congrats on your 300!!!!
I'm still trying...closest I have been is 289. Also looking for an Absolute or Smoking...

My SI is drilled 2L as well. It is not nearly as strong as some people say. It works well on second shift lanes with dry back ends. My first shift lanes have me using the Paradigm. On second shift, I pull out the Smokin since the backend is drier on that set of lanes. But should the SI fail, I pull out the Paradigm since that is my Fail-safe ball.......sorta.

Hmmmm.... I wish that was the case for me.
Got my first back in 1990...still looking for my second. Since then I've had 2-290's, 1-280, and a bunch of 279's, 278's etc. Been close quite a few times, but sometimes you need some luck too.
Anyway, congrats on your 300. It sure feels good when you get one that's for sure. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone, I hope it don't take another 24 years to get the next one. I'll be to old to care then. Next I want the 800 series.
Again thanks
