Even though this is not really a fair comparison, ask yourself this...

Do you own an original AC Cobra or a remake?

I was simply wondering if there was a difference between the two balls in coverstock or core composition.  Really, that's all.  There's no less than 1123 different things that I'm more concerned about.  Didn't realize that this question was going to be such a cause of concern.  Will one ball retain it's value better, perform better, last longer, etc.?  I thought this a simple question that warranted a simple answer.

230, I was not responding to you anyway. I posted b/c I am being told one thing by bb.com and another by the Product Specialist. I think I know who to beleive, but want people to know that bb.com is claiming they are leftover from first production.

I've been looking for a NIB Original for a while, so when I saw it posted, I ordered one.  I don't know the answers to any of the above questions, but when mine arrives I will post a photo including logos & serial number.

If I were thinking of purchasing this ball to drill and use, I could care less.  But, the only reason I would buy one of these would be to keep it as a collectors item.  I doubt a remake would be viewed the same as an original from that perspective.

No problem.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to make a big deal out of this.

I guess I have.

I digress.

I just saw that they are offering them.  I figured it was only a matter of time.  I was thinking about ordering one, but I don't think I will.
